Did he not make them one, with a portion of the Spirit in their union? And what was the one God seeking? Godly offspring. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and let none of you be faithless to the wife of your youth.

Part of God’s intention for the marriage partnership is to train up children in His ways. This is often overlooked today.
First and foremost, it is the responsibility of the parents to teach their children, especially the things of the Lord. Glenn and I need to work in partnership with each other and with the Spirit of God to ensure we introduce our children to the Lord right from birth. It is my greatest prayer that they will all know the Lord from the beginning and place their trust in Him all the days of their lives.
My action for today: Continue intentionally talking to our little guy about God, praying with him and reading to him from the Bible. Keep praying for him.
My prayer for today: Thank you, Lord, for our little guy. Thank you for the delight he is to us. Thank you for the gift he is. We know he is on loan from you. Help us to be good and faithful stewards, mentoring him in the faith and training him up in your ways. Help us to model in word and deed what it is to live a godly, righteous life. Let us show him the joy and peace that comes from following you. Keep him safe in your hands. In Christ’s name, Amen.
